Starving all day!!

There must be something about the word diet that makes me hungry. I was starved all day!!!

Tomorrow I'm on a mission to find and buy some zero points items!!

Here's what I ate:

Coffee with cream and sugar
Large boiled egg
Cup of blueberries
Clementine

Chicken and wild rice soup (can)
Slice of French bread
Coffee with cream and sugar
1/2 blueberry muffin

One cup of spaghetti with meat sauce and a piece of bread
Clementine

All that and I'm starved....maybe tomorrow will be a better day!

I didn't sleep well last night so maybe that has something to do with it.

For all the ladies that are starting weight watchers with me ....we will get through the hunger ....just think in six months (Convention time) we could be at least three sizes smaller. If that isnt motivation what is?

See ya tomorrow!

Hi Angie, As a long-time weight watcher, I have some advice for you, if you don't mind...
1) You will feel hungry for the first week or so, but then your body will get used to eating less and you won't be so hungry.
2) Try to eat a LOT more vegetables... I don't see many on your list.
3) Look for foods with higher protein content - they are more filling.
4) try to limit the breads and pasta, unless it's whole grain.
5) drink a lot of water
Hang in there... you can do it! :-)

Water, water, water. Also, the WW's vegetable soup is delicious! Your breakfast is not enough. You need to eat more. Maybe you can add oatmeal? Maybe more dietary fiber to hold you over.

Hi Angie, I have been doing WW too for about a year now and have lost about 32 pounds so far.

Now, I am quite a bit bigger than you are so I get more points than you do. But one thing that I am noticing with what you ate is your lack of snacks. You definitely need to add in some snacks between your meals to keep your satisfaction level up. Try greek yogurt (Chobani pomegranate is my favorite), any kind of fresh fruit, baby carrots and cucumber slices (I like to sprinkle mine with balsamic vinegar) or maybe a cut up apple dipped in peanut butter.

When you are shopping for zero and low point foods, remember that all fresh fruits and most veggies are zero points because WW really wants you to eat more of them!

Call me anytime if you need more ideas!

try to eat protein within 30 minutes after you wake up. This will help you the entire day.
Cut some chicken breast up into chunks and pan fry in canola or olive oil. (you MUST have oil every day. goes right along with keeping your metabolism going) then add frozen stir fry vegetables. great meal and your protein and veggies will satisfy you. Also another great protein is the greek yogurt......It has 3 times the amount of protein that regular yogurt has.
