Miss Bella and her first hair cut

Here's a before picture with the groomer at The Pet Ranch.


She looks a little shaggy ...but adorable!
I wonder ....am I the first to ask .... if I can take a picture?
It was her first hair cut .....I had to have it for the scrapbook.

Remind me ... start using my real camera and take some better pictures!! My iPhone takes great pictures ...when you're not chasing a puppy around.






And .....the last picture is blurry ...but I had to share it ....her tongue is sticking out :)


I'll share a little secret ....all these pictures were taken with me holding her attention with Blueberries.....she LOVES them (me too). I give her around 8 to 10 a day.

I like her better with the longer hair ....but it's important that she get used to being groomed.

She was so exhausted afterwards that she and I took a nap.....when I woke up she was asleep on Dave's pillow ....don't tell him :)

I blew it

I'm leaving on Tuesday .....I don't travel well. I can't believe I'm saying that ...what happened to the real me? Any who it's the truth....I think it's because I don't have transportation .... Meaning my own car ...and us control freaks don't handle not being in charge. I think that's a part of It ...but not sure. The last time I flew (back in Sept) I pinched a nerve and have been going to physical therapy twice a week ever since. So .. I'm also afraid I may re injure myself. My doctor told me to just ask for help ....that's not easy for me .... can't see myself doing it. Dave is taking me to the airport and picking me up so that's a huge relief. Getting on those long term parking buses always kill me!! I tell everyone flying is not girl friendly ....in my opinion! So my title of this blog post is I blew it ....and I did! I lost my one pound last week (happy about it) but this week I can't diet. If I get laundry done, Bella taken care of, packed and all my business stuff ....it will be a miracle. I have five days left On a good note I'm learning to delegate ....thats what I learned from everything that happened last year and I'm glad I finally got it! See ya later! P.S. I just read everything I wrote and I'd like to delete most of it. But ....after seeing 25 crazy women on the Bachelor ...I think I'm okay :). Back on track

After two days of not counting my points ...I'm back on track.

 Here's what I ate yesterday....
 Coffee with cream and sugar
1 cup blueberries
 2 eggs with one sandwich thin

 2 stalks of celery
Salad with thousand island

 Coffee with cream and sugar
Clementine
Beet stew with one piece of bread.
 Clementine
15 baked Lays chips

 1 large bottle of Smart Water

 Someone ask me ....why Smart Water? Because it's easy and has electrolytes. If I drink one bottle a day ....it's 33 oz. And as for the cost .....it's less than a dollar a day (when you buy them at Costco).

 I came up with my own recipe for the Beef Stew yesterday ....I went to the freezer to get some chicken and I found some stew meat ....so here it goes:

 Crock Pot
 1 lb stew meat
1 can of petite diced tomatoes
1 can corn (drained)
1 can veg all (drained)
 Beef broth 3/4 of the 32 oz box
 1 can cream of celery soup
 2 celery stalks
2 cans of water
1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
 Spices include: pepper, basil and parsley

 It doesn't need salt because of the Lipton soup mix. I don't know the measurements for the spices ...I just threw them in.
 After it cooked for 4 hours on low ....I did a taste test and added about 1/2 cup of water and kicked it up to high for two hours.
 I called it Beef Stew because of the meat ...but it tasted more like vegetable soup ...with some yummy meat.

Miss Bella

Here's the latest picture I took of Miss Bella ....she was 17 weeks on Wednesday and weighs 9.12



What's funny is I bought this crate to take her back and forth to the vet and ....she's outgrown it :) She should be anywhere from 7 to 11 pounds ....I'm thinking maybe more.

Busy day ahead ....making progress on my craft room and I have a live stream at noon.

My craft room is a wreck!

A word of advice ..... Never start a diet when your craft room is tore apart ....or when you're email goes down!!!

Several things have gone major wrong in the past two days and today I had to forget Weight watchers and have some comfort food.....aka McDonald's breakfast.

I've never done this before ....but here it goes ....here what my room looks like right this minute :O

And .....

Two of my email addresses are not working ...and they haven't for a while ....I just didn't realize it until this morning. I could receive emails ....but all my replies never made it. Where do
I begin to find out how far back it quit working.

The good news is my assistant is coming over after dinner and is going to help me get my room back in shape.

I won't share my food intake today ....too scary! But I'll restart my diet tomorrow.

Someone sent this to me today and I love it ....just wish I had read it before I ate McDonalds breakfast!

To tired to type

I know why I'm over weight ...it's day's like today ...that force me to eat anything I can find.
I didn't do too bad ...until dinner time.  I've been working since 7am ... it's 9:30pm and I finally decided to stop (took a small break earlier today to take Miss Bella to the vet).

Dave picked up BBQ and I was sooo hungry .... I ate some meat and 16 Fries .... I only had 8 points left for the day ..so I'm pretty sure I went over.   At least I didn't eat the bun :)

And I have a real bad case of ADD or ADHD ....the new mini Catalog started today .... Product Shares ...Stamp Set of the month club started ....and ...... I tore my office apart ... I know where did that come from?  I wasn't happy with some areas in my office and decided to do something about it ... except waiting for the pieces to arrive ... is doing more damage than good ...everything is everywhere :O  I should take a picture but it may scare some people away!!

Here's my food intake

Coffee with Cream & Sugar
2 eggs with toast
One little white powder donut

1 cup of Spaghetti with meat sauce (leftovers)
2 stalks of celery
Coffee with cream and sugar

4 pcs of broccoli (raw and after eating them the heartburn was so bad I've decided I don't like that stuff )
BBQ (meat and sauce)
16 french fries
12 Skittles (what can I say ..I'm working tonight and needed fuel)

And last but not least ....I'm about to eat a Clementine or two ...

Tomorrow I must go to the store ... a piece of advice ...never start a diet without going to the store.  I started on Monday ... and have yet to grace the doors of the store.  I ask Dave to go to Costco and get me some yummy fruit .... he declined :) maybe tomorrow.

p.s. if you come back and this post is gone ...you'll know I'm all level headed again and decided to hit delete.  I'd hate for someone to think I'm always like this!

p.s.again ... I promise I will post a picture of Miss Bella soon!!  She is 17 weeks old today and weighs 9 lbs and 12 oz.

Dairy allergy

I LOVE all the suggestions you guys are giving me!!!

Thank you!!!

And keep them coming .....but ....one small note.

I can't eat any dairy ....I know ....it's a real pain and I hate it ...but it could be worse!!

So any snacks ..... bars or anything that has dairy ....I can't have. I think that's one of the reasons I struggle with losing weight.

No milk...no yogurt....no sour cream....no chocolate....no cheese....no cottage cheese.

And I can't have Lactaid or Soy. Almond milk has been the only one I can tolerate but not a lot of it.

For you experts out there.... What can I snack on that has zero points?

Heading to the store to stock up on veggies and fruits!

Starving all day!!

There must be something about the word diet that makes me hungry. I was starved all day!!!

Tomorrow I'm on a mission to find and buy some zero points items!!

Here's what I ate:

Coffee with cream and sugar
Large boiled egg
Cup of blueberries
Clementine

Chicken and wild rice soup (can)
Slice of French bread
Coffee with cream and sugar
1/2 blueberry muffin

One cup of spaghetti with meat sauce and a piece of bread
Clementine

All that and I'm starved....maybe tomorrow will be a better day!

I didn't sleep well last night so maybe that has something to do with it.

For all the ladies that are starting weight watchers with me ....we will get through the hunger ....just think in six months (Convention time) we could be at least three sizes smaller. If that isnt motivation what is?

Weight Watchers

It's a new year and time to make some changes.
Back in November .... Or was it October? I started the low carb diet and lost my after surgery weight of 8 pounds.
But....then there was the holidays and who can diet in November and December. I'm just happy to report I gained zero pounds. Probably due to the fact that
I did zero Christmas baking. Had I made a single batch of
Cookies or Fudge I'm sure I would have!!!

So ....today I started weight watchers. Like I told someone yesterday ...the low carb worked but I LOVE fruit and after two months of no fruit I was craving it major.

The bad part is I'll be more hungry ....but at least I can eat anything ...just much smaller portions!

We just finished supper and I went over on my points today ...by one point.

Here's what I ate ...you'll see where I went wrong ..

Coffee
Biscuit
Clementine

Salad with thousand island
1/2 beef sandwich

Coffee
Donut
10 almonds

Salmon filet (with lemon pepper)
Green beans
Clementine

I know what to do tomorrow :). Skip the biscuit and donut and the almonds and have fruit.

I drank one whole bottle of Smart water (for now all I'm drinking is coffee and water.
