It didn't .... But I wasn't sure what was going to happen.
I think I'm really going to like Daves Fathers day present.
He's wanted one for years .....to freeze all the fish he brings home. Of course once we got it I haven't seen any fish :)
I'm going to ask him about that when he gets home!

Hi Angie,
You will love that Food Saver. We have used one for atleast 10 years or more.(on our second)We get our meats from Sam's and divide it up into those bags and not had one freezer burn item. My husband puts a paper towel on the inside at the top before he seals it so the juice from the meat doesn't move to the top. You may not get a good seal if that happens. We use plain white towels so the meat doesn't get ink from the printed towels.
Cheese last for along time with out getting moldy to.

Love my Food Saver, too! I just need to remember to use it more often.

My husband and I just bought one about a month ago and I am already in love with it. We stocked up on meat. The trick is to flash freeze your meat...for about an hour and then seal it.
I love that you can also customize the size of bags that you need. I had purchased a roast that was just a tad too big for the other bags!
