I'm out of surgery and in my hospital room.
The doctor told my family the surgery went well and we'll know if it's cancer within a few weeks.
I'm doing okay .......other than a sore throat ...but I had a rough patch there for a while. The nausea was AWFUL. I woke up with quite a bit of pain and without nausea .....but the nausea got really bad when they wheeled me to the room.
After trying a few things....they gave me some wonderful drug in a drip and it worked .
Thank God I was really whining and I'm sure it was worrying Kim, Daddy and Dave!
And can you believe I had a HORRIBLE headache? The drip fixed that too :). But I can tell it's lingering out there and can come back any moment.
I already have a story for y'all ..... I don't remember it because of the meds but after they gave me the medicine to make me sleepy I got the hiccups and they were powerful ....I'll have to ask Kim for the rest of the story I've already forgotten.
Gotta run....about to take another nap.
Thanks for all your prayers!!!!

So glad to hear your surgery went well. I hear ya on the nausea! When I had my hysterectomy the nausea caused by the pain meds was worse than anything!
Get some rest and enjoy letting people wait on you for a change!
So glad to hear from you and know that the surgery is over. Be sure and tell them any problems you have, there are meds for everything and they have heard it all! I'm not an expert on much but having 7 surgeries the past 5 years, I know a little bit about this:) Keep your faith in God, faith is the best medicine. You and your mother are in my prayers.
Angie

Seriously can not believe you are already updating us from your hospital bed!! We nurses are wonderful at giving magic potion after surgery, just make sure you keep on top of pain and don't let it built up too much, its harder to control and slow down the healing process!! Fantastic to hear that all is well and your spirits are high - you made me giggle from the other side of the country in Perth, Australia!! Love to you and your family!! Your results will be clear. Loads of hugs Clrissa xxx
Gosh that anesthesia can be a real horror afterwards...aka headache and nausea. Hope you have a speedy recovery! Keepin' you in my prayers!
I am sending you the best wishes for a speedy recovery all the way from Germany! Keep your chin up and I will keep my fingers crossed for great results!! Katja
Hi Angie
I love to receive all your blog updates most days and love your creation. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at the moment as you await your diagnosis and have a speedy recovery.
Glad you are out of surgery safely and that they had some medicine to help you with the side effects. I hope your road to recover goes smoothly.
Thanks for the update. So happy that you made it through ok. Now just get some rest and let God do the rest. :-)
Amazing that you are updating us already! I don't react well to anaesthetic either - when I had major surgery a few years ago I had projectile vomiting for a week, so anything on that is an improvement! Fingers crossed the news from the path lab is good! Thinking of you! Nicole x
Angie, Sending you love and prayers from downunder. I hope you are up and around in no time and all is well with the results. Thanks for the updates but don't stress about that. Take care of yourself.
Sending Aussie hugs,
Jenny xx
