They went ahead with the surgery and I should be able to pick her up tomorrow and we'll just wait to hear about the biopsy.
Thanks for all the well wishes!! As soon as it's all over I'll post more details. I'm just not feeling very well....it could be a result me having trouble sleeping.

We have 2 4 year old litter mate French Bulldog/Boston Terrier boys who are so much a part of our family - Beauregaurd Mugsy or Beau for short & our alpha boy Brutus Maximus or Brutus for short. Brutus is my husband's buddy, while Beau is my sweet little gentleman.
I understand the anxiety, stress, lack of sleep & the entire gamut of what these 4 legged children bring to our lives. But they also bring us unconditional love at all times even if they are stinkers once in a while. LOL!
Just thought I'd share some important news with you about sugarless gum & what can happen if your girls ingest it if it has the ingredient xylitol in it. We just recently had a scare with Brutus. He got ahold of our daughter's gum, being our sneaky boy that he is. I immediately knew something was going on, because his brother always tattles on him. Beau will come & cower beside me, so I know something isn't right. Sure enough I went into the other room & there was Brutus caught red "pawed" with the package of Stride gum. In calling the vet, I found out a main ingredient, xylitol, was toxic & would likely shut down his liver within 45 minutes. So before we rushed him to the animal hospital, I helped him to get sick (to put it nicely) so I could see how much he had ingested to let the vet know once we got there.
Here's a tip if you don't know about it already, but to help them get sick, you pour hydrogen peroxide down their throats & then feed them a piece of bread in bite sizes. Everything that is in their stomach will come up immediately. This is something we have had to use more then once with our boys. It is a safe method that our vet recommended quite some time ago. Interesting home remedy isn't it.
After a series of various testing, having him stay overnight for 24 hr. care, etc. he is fine now. Thank goodness for pet insurance, our bill was close to $1000 & that's not the first of many we have had for other trips to the animal hospital.
If you know of any other parents of 4 legged canine children, be sure to pass on the info. about sugarless gum, it could save their life!
