Back to the purpose of my post.
Ever since they told me on Friday that they would have to remove Fluffy's eye I've felt sick & I'm horribly sad.
Now that she's home I can't help but get tears in my eyes everytime I look at her (just remember.....my kids joke & say I cry watching Barney...but I say I don't watch Barney).
As I'm watching the Olympics they shared a story about a dog named Isabelle. She's been blind for five years and although she can't see she has lots of strength.
Fluff will adjust to not having her left eye...now we're waiting to find out the results of her biopsy.
I love watching the Olympics because they shared all the amazing stories about all the trials everyone has in their life....and hearing them makes me feel normal after all :) Kwim??
Take care!
p.s. can you tell I'm feeling incredibly guiltly....I kept complaining about all the noise Fluff makes every day and now she's sick. I take it all back!! If you hear her barking in my videos ....we'll just have laugh about it :)

Oh Angie, please understand that you have nothing to feel guilty about. I know that it is very hard to do and we as humans always tend to beat ourselves up over stuff, but you have to let it go, or you are going to be no good to anyone. Fluffly WILL adjust just fine, I am sure of it, animals are very resillient and tend to heal much faster and do much better than we do. I am still praying and having good thoughts for you and Fluffy. I know it hurts to look at her, just as it would hurt to look at a child that was sick or injured, but try to look past it and see the real Fluffy. She needs you now, more than ever, you have to sleep and eat and be healthy for her sake. She cannot take care of herself and needs you to be there with her. She is counting on you, so step up to the plate. This is life. I feel so bad having to be so straightforward with you, but that is just how it is. I really do wish I could come right over and give you a much deserved big, giant HUG, and make you feel all better. You do have support, from Dave, from all of us. Lean on that support and have the strength that you need for Fluffy. I am still your good friend and do not think badly of you, heck, I would be going through exactly the same thing, and have done on many occasions when my Kitties have been ill. We lost one of them,
"Magic", late last year. It was the hardest thing I ever had to go through. He was having seizures for the last 5 months of his life, the Vet said that he was not in any pain. Then one day, it got so bad that we decided he would be better off in Heaven. It was so very, very hard to do. I still think of him everyday. I still shed a tear sometimes. It is alright to cry, don't let your kids tell you any different. You cry all you want, honey. I will wait anxiously for your next update on you and Fluffy. Stay safe until then.

Hang in there Angie! Trish in Wisconsin couldn't have said it better.. so I won't even try.
I have enjoyed the stories that have been shared by the athletes in the olympics too. Makes me want to get and move while I am watching them. The feeling should last past watching their stories. You know what I mean :)
