My sister Kim just called me and the March Glamour magazine has an advertisement for Chloe perfume.
Here's what it looks like......
That has been my perfume since the 80's and several years ago the stores stopped carrying it.
I searched high & low for every bottle I could find....... and was able to get several bottles. I'm down to two half bottles & I only use it on days I leave the house :)
I've tried to stretch it out to last me forever. When I take trips... I bubble wrap the bottle twice just to be safe. (I'm sure the airline people think I'm weird....tissue paper around my clothes & bubble wrap on my perfume, hair dryer and curling iron.)
It looks like Macy's Department store is bringing it back & it's been re-bottled. Sounds good to me....I just pray it really is the original scent :)
I Googled it and it looks like some other stores may start carrying it too but I wasn't able to find a link to order it (I'll keep trying).

My sister will call me and say "oh my gosh, the box you sent me smells just like you". I never know how to take that comment because she's not the only one that says that to me :)
I can't smell it but I can safely say it's either Chloe or Gain Detergent & Fabric Softener :) Both of which smell good to me and don't give me headaches.
When I find something I really like ....I'm loyal to the end!!

Angie, thaat's funny.and what I heR lso. Except mine is either Gain Detergent and Fabric Softner, and L'Aur Du Temps perfume. :) For a while I couldn't find myperfume anywhere either and it is the only kind I can wear, as it doesn't give me headaches! I stocked up and still have a bottle in the fridge, I rotate it...just in case there comes a day I can't find it again LOL I get headaches just being in line behind people with strong perfumes..Liz Taylor the very worse!! It was my late sisters brand, she wore it for years and I would be sick for days after being with her any length of time.I smell it on anyone and I think of her:(
I am so happy for you that they came back with your favorite perfume. Mine is Poison, and has been for about 20plus years. My DH just loves it. It is quite expensive, but I only use a little bit at a time. I hate when people take a bath in thier perfume...it makes me sick and gag. Honestly, I can't stand it and will move away from them. I also can't stand the detergent isle at the grocery store, the scent is so strong that it gives me an instant headache and makes me physically ill. I make my DH go down that isle, or I send him out to buy the detergent and laundry softener. I too am very, very loyal to my certain brands. I will stick with them forever, or as long as they are available. My DH thinks that I am nuts, and should buy what is on sale at the time, but I like what I like and that is the end of the story. I hate switching around just to find out that I hate something. He calls me an old stick in the mud. Lol. He says that I am too set in my ways and that I should be more flexible to changing, but I am sorry, when it comes to eating, personal hygiene, or toiletries, brands to use for cleaning the house, dish soap, and that sort of stuff, then YES, I guess that I am set in my ways. He tells his friends about this all of the time and they all think this is such a big joke. If we are going to a party, they will call me on the phone and let me know what they are serving and drinking and ask me if that is alright with me, or would I prefer to bring my own. Real funny, ha, ha. I will try a new brand of cleaning product, but if I don't like it I will go back to my original brand. Well, I guess you know just a little bit too much about me now. The cat is out of the bag that I am OCD, heck, what can I say, things could be worse, right? You didn't mention anything about Fluffly. I have been thinking of them all day. Was it very traumatic, how did you cope? Please write and let me know how Fluffly is doing and if they are home. Thanks. Have a wonderful Sunday and week ahead.

For all of you lucky people that are not allergic to perfume (like I am) wear it every day! Just don't wear the whole bottle (hee-hee). Angie thank you for the good packing tips. Never thought of using bubble wrap! What a great idea! Angie the smell I associate with you is GAIN laundry detergent :)))))
