Chase is home

Chase has been in Tennessee since we went home for Brents graduation party (3 weeks ago?) and last night I picked him up from the airport.  I could have run through the airport I was so excited to see him!!

It's really true when people say they don't have a favorite child.  Some days it may look like I favor one or the other but they honestly are so different .....that they each fill a different spot in my heart.
I grew up with sisters & mainly girl cousins (when there was a boy around we tortured them....just kidding).   But, having Chase & all his (boy) cousins I could not imagine going through another generation with just girls.  He makes me laugh, cry and swear all in the same hour.  He has the most amazing stories and is smart as a whip.  He can tell you everything about a dinosaur, tornado, great white shark and a thousand other topics.

In just a few shorts months he'll start his senior year of high school and all of a sudden I've hit panic mode...have I taught him everything he needs to know...can he take care of himself?  Will he move away from me....can I follow him?
Being a wife and mother were honestly the only things I wanted out of life (of course a nice house & food were in there somewhere) and I sure hope that down the road every decision I've made was the right one.  I over analyze everything but I say it's better to be safe than sorry!!

Have a great weekend!!
